How to Open a Key Fob on an Audi


1. Extend the key from the plastic key fob by pressing the chrome button on the corner of the fob.
2. Examine the key fob. Inside the key indentation in the fob (where the key rests when it is not extended). you should see a thin crack. This crack is where the two halves of the plastic fob cover come together. This crack should extend completely around the circumference of the key fob and should run parallel to the fob buttons.
3. Wedge a small flat-head screwdriver into the crack and use the screwdriver to pry the fob apart.

How to Program an Auto Transporter Ignition Key


Programming the First Key
1. Insert your electronic key into the ignition and turn it to the On position. Allow the key to remain there for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
2. Turn the key to the Off position within 45 seconds and then return it to the On position, allowing it to remain for another 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
3. Repeat step two, leaving the key in the ignition for 10 minutes and 30 seconds for a third time.
4. Cycle the key to the Off position and then back to the On position to end the programming sequence.
Programming Additional Keys
5. Insert your first key into the ignition and turn it to the On position.
6. Leave the working key in the ignition for five seconds and return it to the Off position and remove it from the ignition.
7. Insert the additional key into the ignition and turn it to the On position for five seconds as well.
8. Turn this key to the Off position and back to the On position to complete the programming sequence for your additional key.
